How to Turn Your Own Chinese Lyrics into a Song

To use your own Chinese lyrics in MusicGo, first generate a starting song from a title and music description. Open the finished song in your library, choose Create a version, replace the lyrics with your draft, and generate again. This creates a separate song; it does not replace words inside the original audio or preserve its exact melody.

1. Prepare lyrics you have the right to submit

Start with lyrics you wrote or have permission to submit. Choose a concrete subject and a few images you want the song to keep. Short lines and a repeated chorus can make your own revision process easier, but the generator may interpret the wording, pronunciation and arrangement differently on each attempt.

The example below is an original Chinese writing exercise. Replace its details with your own experience. It is a text example, not a recording or evidence that every line will be sung exactly as written.

Original lyric draft: 灯还亮着

[Verse]
末班车越过熟悉的桥
口袋里留着一张车票
风把白天的喧闹吹远
我在路口慢慢把心找到

[Chorus]
灯还亮着 等我回家
把一路的沉默轻轻放下
明天的风会翻开新的一页
今晚先把自己好好拥抱

Section labels are editable text that communicates your intended structure; they do not guarantee exact musical sections or timing.

2. Create a starting song with a clear musical direction

Sign in with Google or Apple. On the creation page, enter a short title such as 灯还亮着 and describe the sound you want. The homepage currently has a title field and a music-description field; the separate lyrics editor is available after you open an existing song. Do not rely on pasting a whole lyric into the description field to preserve its wording.

Use one coherent direction for the first song. The description below asks for a Mandarin acoustic song. Language and performance directions express your intention, rather than promising a specific voice, accent or arrangement. Choose Create music once and wait for the task to finish in the queue.

A music description for the starting song

A gentle Mandarin acoustic pop song about arriving home after a long day. Warm fingerpicked guitar, soft piano and light percussion, with a clear, intimate solo vocal. Keep the mood reassuring and let the chorus feel more open than the verses. Use an original melody.

You can write the music description in Chinese instead. Keep the title within 30 characters and the description within 2,000 characters as shown in the form.

3. Put your lyrics into Create a version

Open the completed song from My library. Choose Create a version, select the existing text in Lyrics, and replace it with your own full draft. Keep the parts you want to repeat in the submitted text. Review the music description in the same dialog and retain the direction you still want.

The editor shows limits of 3,500 characters for lyrics and 2,000 for the music description. Keep a copy of your draft outside the browser before submitting. Choose Generate version to start another creation. MusicGo keeps the original song and saves the new result separately.

This is a fresh audio generation. It is useful for trying your lyrics with a new performance, but it is not an in-place vocal edit. The melody, voice, phrasing and total length can change even when the description stays the same.

4. Check the words against the recording

Listen to the entire new version while following the lyric draft. Note any skipped, repeated or unclear words, especially names, numbers and characters with more than one pronunciation. The text displayed with a song is not proof that every syllable was performed correctly.

If a line feels crowded, try a shorter rewrite. For example, replace 我在路口慢慢把心找到 with 我在路口找回自己, then generate another version and compare. This is a writing experiment, not a guaranteed pronunciation control. Keep your strongest version and change one main detail at a time.

Use the track-detail download action when you want the audio file, or Copy share link to prepare a listening link for someone else. Anyone holding that link can listen without signing in. Review personal names, stories and other sensitive lyric details before sharing.

5. Budget for the first song and the lyric version

Outside an active website membership, the starting song uses 10 credits and each new version uses another 10. One starting song plus one custom-lyric version therefore uses 20 credits; further versions are additional creations. Eligible new accounts receive a one-time 30-credit welcome gift. Check the displayed balance and action cost before submitting.

Website membership is US$5.99 per month or US$49.99 per year and renews at the selected interval. Music creation does not use additional credits while that membership is active. Website credits and membership benefits are separate from native-app benefits. See Pricing & plans for current terms.

If the task status is uncertain, check the existing queue and library before submitting again. Before publishing the result, review the website terms and the rights associated with your material and purchase. Owning the lyric draft does not by itself settle the rights in every part of the generated recording.
